JPC Group, Inc. will begin dredging activities in your area in the coming months. While in the area JPC will be offering dredging services up to 100 cubic yards to private boat slip owners.

The cost for this service will be at the Township established rate of $93.00/cy(cubic yard). This is a measured quantity per barge load. (1 barge load = 50 cy) or (2 barge loads = 100 cy)

To take advantage of this service, an application will need to be filled out with the NJDEP. This application will be submitted to the Division of Land Resource Protection as a part of the “Coastal Zone Management – General Permit 16 – Minor Maintenance Dredging in Man-Made Lagoons”. This permit could take up 30 days to be processed. The cost for the permit application is $500.00. Payment can be made by money order, certified check, or cashier’s check. Payment is to be made out to JPC Group, Inc.

After the permit is received from the NJDEP, JPC will schedule your slip for dredging. At that time, JPC will need payment for the dredging based upon your permitted quantity. The payment for dredging can also be made by money order, certified check, or cashier’s check made payable to JPC Group, Inc. Payment must be received prior to scheduled arrival date.
