PROJECT OVERVIEW

The scope of work outlines the capping and redevelopment of the Kaighn Avenue Barge Facility. The above listed location will operate as a scrap metal recycling facility. General scope is as follows: installation of a 200’-0” x 400’-0” concrete metal storage slab supported by rigid inclusion foundation elements and a geogrid reinforced crane beam for future rail mounted material handler, installation of five (5) new mooring bollards, installation of pre-cast inlets, 30” HDPE stormwater storage/conveyance piping, sediment vault, and stormwater storage tank for reuse on-site as dust control; and an impermeable cap 12” thick plain concrete pavement over a geogrid reinforced stone base.
